We just had too many depth players that deserved playing time and were more effective players for us. Glad he's gone so we have the free contract spot and he isn't wasting his time in the press box.

What I don't understand is how the Jays seem to have gotten a better trade for Oh than they did for Happ.

A return to the island seemed inevitable. If think the fact that his contract has less money owed than his cap hit made it easier to move. Just happy they didn't have to retain or pay a prospect/pick to move
